W. Morrissey (aka Big Cass) has reportedly finished up with Impact Wrestling.

Morrissey joined the promotion at April 2021’s Rebellion event and feuded for the Impact World Championship, though he never won the title.

Mike Johnson was the first to break the story of his departure:

“W. Morrissey, aka the former Big Cass in WWE, has departed Impact Wrestling, PWInsider.com has confirmed. Tonight’s episode of Impact Wrestling on AXS TV, featuring PCO & Morrisey vs. Moose & Steve Maclin will be his final appearance for the company.”

Morrissey made his AEW debut last month as the mystery opponent for Wardlow, hand-picked by MJF.

Following the match, WWE officials were reportedly very impressed and interested in bringing Morrissey back despite losing the bout.

It’s unclear if either WWE or AEW have made him an offer at this time.
