AEW’s Wardlow has said he’d love to team with Jeff Hardy, should the former WWE World Champion come to the All Elite promotion as expected.

Hardy was released from WWE last December after refusing to enter rehab following a concerning performance at a live event in Edinburg, Texas.

It’s since come out that Jeff had no drugs in his system, and has refused the chance to return to WWE and a Hall of Fame induction by the company.

On the Battleground podcast, Wardlow said he hopes Jeff signs with AEW and plans to one day share the ring with the “Charismatic Enigma”:

“Just sharing a locker room with Jeff Hardy would mean the world to me. To be involved in any type of match with him would be amazing. I personally would rather team with Matt and Jeff to take on three others, rather than wrestle Jeff myself.”

Jeff Hardy’s non-compete clause with WWE will expire on March 9th and it’s believed he will reunite with his brother Matt Hardy in AEW.

The Hardy Boyz have already been announced for Big Time Wrestling’s event on March 12th in Albany, New York where they will face Brian Myers and NWA World Heavyweight Champion Matt Cardona.
