As we previously reported here on eWn, Vince McMahon was backstage at Friday night’s WWE SmackDown and Hall of Fame TV tapings. The Chairman of the Board was also backstage at WrestleMania 39 (Night One).
According to a report from Pwinsider, McMahon was said to have been “much more involved” than he was when he attended a RAW TV taping in Boston, MA last month. Numerous sources say McMahon had an office backstage that was very close to the Gorilla position.
Additionally, McMahon was heard “on the headsets early” in the show and was providing feedback and asking questions. Another source stated that McMahon was “supervising” the show and wasn’t just “hanging out” this time around.
Nick Khan continues to try and convince people that McMahon is “not that involved” with the creative end of the company. There has been a lot of “eye rolling” over that sentiment. We shall see moving forward.
