The British Broadcasting Corporation is reportedly working on some kind of project that is related to former WWE Superstar Giant Gonzalez.
Gonzalez was part of the promotion’s ‘New Generation’ and infamously competed against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 9 in 1993.
On a recent edition of his “Right Down The Middle” podcast, Bill Alfonso shared that he has been interviewed for whatever the BBC is working on about Gonzalez. He said,
“So BBC just contacted me today and they want to interview me. They want to talk about Giant Gonzalez. I was an assistant for three years for him. We traveled the world. Man, we were on movies, and Baywatch, and Hulk Hogan’s Thunder in Paradise, and all kinds of shows, and [it was] really cool.”
Gonzalez worked as El Gigante in WCW and in addition to wrestling, worked as an actor and basketball player. The Argentinian passed away in September 2010.
