Major League Wrestling (MLW) today announced an MLW Women’s World Featherweight Championship Title Fight: Janai Kai (champion) vs. Delmi Exo (with Cesar Duran) for MLW: Battle RIOT VI on Saturday, June 1 at Center Stage in Atlanta, GA and presented live on YouTube.

Earlier this year, Delmi Exo secured her shot at the title, with her new promoter Cesar Duran orchestrating the highly anticipated match to unfold at the Battle Riot in Atlanta. Exo has been eagerly awaiting her 1-on-1 rematch for the title for eight long months, ever since her shocking title loss last October to the “Halloween Phantom,” later revealed to be none other than Janai Kai.
Recent revelations have turned the MLW world upside down, with whispers of an “inside man” facilitating CONTRA Unit’s access to arenas and production feeds, enabling their attacks and propaganda. The shocking truth was unveiled at Fury Road (watch for free) when Janai Kai, was revealed as the traitor. Joining CONTRA Unit has proven the international cabal’s crusade is a righteous cause to some of wrestling’s most wicked, including Kai.
Despite CONTRA Unit’s shadow looming over this match, Delmi Exo remains undeterred. She has been relentlessly fighting for a rematch to reclaim her title and is determined to face Kai head-on. Questions still linger about why Janai Kai betrayed MLW and abandoned Salina de la Renta, but one thing is certain: this title fight will be unlike any other.
With the black flag of CONTRA flying over this championship bout, Delmi Exo and the cunning Cesar Duran will have their work cut out for them. Will Exo overcome the new, more perilous Janai Kai, or will the “Kick Demon” continue her reign of terror?
