Karrion Kross’ recent appearances on SmackDown are the first time he’s been on WWE’s main roster, according to the promotion.
Kross’, alongside his wife Scarlett, returned to WWE on the August 5 episode of SmackDown, after both were released in November 2021.
Prior to being cut, Kross’ had been called up to Monday Night RAW, infamously losing his debut match to Jeff Hardy.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reports that WWE will not reference Kross’ first main roster run.
“So they announced it was his debut, so they are basically trying to pretend that Karrion Kross is a new guy.”
Kross’ first run on WWE’s main roster received criticism from fans who believed that the two-time former NXT Champion was being underutilized in his role.
Kross’ will make his main roster in-ring ‘debut’ on this Friday’s SmackDown on FOX.
