WWE sent out the following press release on Friday, announcing a NXT pre-show set for next Wednesday night at 7:30PM EST prior to the brand going live on USA at 8PM EST. Charly Caruso, Pat McAfee, and Sam Roberts will host the show.
Of course, this is the same night NXT goes head-to-head with AEW so they are trying to go all out and make the show have a “Takeover” feel to it. There is also expected to be extremely heavy promotion for NXT on RAW and SmackDown! Live as they obviously don’t want to get beat by AEW in the ratings department on their first night going head-to-head:
