WWE announced on Tuesday that WWE RAW “commissioner” Stephanie McMahon has fined Brock Lesnar “$500 for his assault on Randy Orton and F5 to Shane McMahon” at Sunday night’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view.
The announcement was first made on the WWE SmackDown pre-show. As noted earlier, Stephanie announced on RAW that there would be “repercussions” to Lesnar as a result of his actions at the pay-per-view event.
During Tuesday night’s WWE SmackDown Live! broadcast, there was a backstage segment where Shane McMahon was talking with WWE referee Charles Robinson. The new SmackDown backstage announcer came up to McMahon and asked about Brock Lesnar. McMahon said Lesnar crossed the line. She said Stephanie McMahon agreed with him and said Lesnar would face repercussions. McMahon said Stephanie fined Lesnar $500 and she’s clearly not taking it seriously. She asked if McMahon thought it was fair and McMahon said “this thing with me and Brock Lesnar is far from over.”
