WWE Considering Moving RAW Off Monday Nights

WWE SmackDown will be switching over to the USA Network at the end of WWE’s current broadcast deal with FOX.

The Wrestling Observer Radio is reporting that there have been discussions regarding moving WWE RAW off Monday nights. Dave Meltzer said,

“There absolutely is talk of RAW moving off Monday, probably because they are getting destroyed by football this year.”

According to the Sports Business Journal, there is potential for WWE RAW to switch to a new night as part of a new media rights deal.

In addition, Disney and Amazon have held talks with WWE over the media rights for RAW and NXT.

WWE RAW has been on Monday nights since the show’s debut over 30 years ago on January 11, 1993.

WWE SmackDown will move to the USA Network starting in October 2024, having previously run on the USA Network from 2016 to 2019.
