WWE Files For “Gauntlet Eliminator” Trademark – Details

On March 24th, WWE filed to trademark the term ‘Gauntlet Eliminator’. This is the name chosen for the match to determine a #1 contender for Johnny Gargano’s NXT North American Championship. The match will start out with 12 Superstars, with the last six men in the match moving on to TakeOver: Stand & Deliver for a Gauntlet Match on Night One.

The order of entry in the gauntlet match will be determined by the elimination order in the battle royal. The winner of the gauntlet on Night One will then go on to face Johnny Gargano on Night Two. The Gauntlet Eliminator match will include the following NXT Superstars: Jake Atlas, Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, Leon Ruff, Austin Theory, Dexter Lumis, Tyler Rust, Kushida, Cameron Grimes, Pete Dunne, Roderick Strong, Bronson Reed, and LA Knight.
