WWE is always looking to add more starpower as proven by the upcoming returns of the Bella Twins, Michelle McCool, Lita and Mickie James, but the biggest name they have in mind is Ronda Rousey.
A report from Fightful Select stated that the company is pushing for a return of the former UFC Bantamweight and RAW Women’s Champion after speculation from Bryan Alvarez, according to whom Ronda will be present at the Royal Rumble “Premium Live Event”.
According to sources, the plan is to have a singles match between Rousey and Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 38. The rematch has been planned for a long time but it never happened due to COVID-19 and Rousey’s pregnancy.
Ronda Rousey shockingly joined WWE at the beginning of 2018 and quickly became champion, starting a winning streak that ended at WrestleMania 35 where she was pinned by Becky Lynch. That is also her last WWE appearance to date.
