The following is from our play-by-play coverage of the WWE NXT TakeOver: Chicago II event:

They start out with a slow approach with some quick pin attempts and mat-based holds. Ricochet lands a big drop kick then hits a right hand followed up with an attempted springboard move but Dream knocks him down. Dream connects with a series of right hands in the corner. Dream went to the apron and hit a springboard senton. Dream steals another move from Ricochet’s arsenal with a cannonball splash on the outside. Ricochet gets back in and hits a suicide dive. Ricochet follows with a corkscrew moonsault and lands on his feet. Standing shooting star press gets a two count.

Ricochet heads to the top rope and Dream crotches him there. They both end on the middle rope and Dream gets a roll death valley bomb for a two count. As the crowd chants “NXT,” a standing suplex on the apron from Dream and Ricochet hits the outside real hard. We now get a “holy s—” chant. Both barely make the 10 count and Dream gets another death valley bomb for a two count. Dream gets caught coming off the top rope, but he lands the DDT. Both are on the canvas and the crowd stands to applaud. Dream slaps Ricochet and tells him he belongs in a bingo hall. Ricochet with his own death valley bomb. He also steals the elbow drop off the to rope, but Dream kicks out at 2. Ricochet heads to the top, but Dream moves to the center of the ring. Ricochet goes for a shooting star press halfway across the ring. Dream gets his knees up and heads to the top. He doesn’t land the elbow drop from the other end of the ring as Ricochet moves. 640 by Ricochet across Dream’s back and it’s enough for a three count.
