As noted, Tessa Blanchard has been fired from Impact Wrestling.
She was scheduled to defend the belt at the Slammiversary pay-per-view event in a multi-person match. Blanchard was terminated and stripped of the World Title.
WWE has reportedly “sent feelers out” to contact Tessa about potentially working together, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio. As of this writing, there have been no reports on whether AEW is interested in signing her.
WWE previously passed on signing Blanchard to a developmental deal in the past because of “attitude issues”.
