According to a report from PWInsider, WWE has discussed moving NXT to the USA Network.
Recent reports suggest that the black and gold brand has been in serious discussion regarding a move to FS1, with Dave Meltzer even reporting that talks are far enough along that FOX has begun sharing this news with its affiliates. However, this new report that has surfaced gives a better look at how serious WWE is about to the idea that NXT heading to cable to counter-program AEW on TNT no matter what the circumstance.
The report claims WWE pitched a weekly TV show to USA that would be 2 hours every Wednesday live from NXT’s typical venue of Full Sail Live.
Interestingly, if this move over to USA is to be confirmed, this would be even more of a parallel to the Monday Night War as USA and TNT go head-to-head every Wednesday.
