WWE is claiming that they set a new attendance record at Minute Maid Park, surpassing a Taylor Swift concert. Swift’s show drew 42,095 people and the Rumble apparently drew 42,715 fans. According to Wikipedia, Craig Biggio’s last game of his career on September 30th, 2007 sold 43,823 tickets, 107% of the capacity of the ballpark.
The 2019 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view event at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona drew 48,193 people.
