Welcome to SmackDown Live. There was a recap video package from last week’s show and AJ Styles attacking Shane McMahon. Daniel Bryan was shown talking with Styles backstage. Bryan said that he still thinks Styles should be fired but McMahon thinks different so and sees its as an opportunity. Bryan said that Styles has no idea what’s he in for at WrestleMania. Bryan told him that McMahon is on his way to the arena. Styles told him that he will go out and tell the world how it feels to beat up McMahon.
Styles walked out to the ring and said that he is not sorry about beating up McMahon last week. He said that it made his heart swell to see that happen and is glad to put McMahon through a car window. Styles brought up McMahon announcing their match at WrestleMania 33 last week. Styles said that McMahon is crazy and he accepts his challenge. He said that the reason he wants to wrestle McMahon at the event because he wants to be part of the show and then reason that McMahon wants to wrestle him is because without him then SmackDown crashes. Styles said that he is untouchable and is going to WrestleMania. He said that he will meet McMahon in the parking lot again tonight and will beat him down worse.
-Commercial Break-
Bryan called McMahon and gave him a heads up about Styles waiting on him. Bryan said that he supports him. Baron Corbin walked in and asked where Ambrose was. Bryan said that he has heard from Ambrose. Corbin told him that he is taking the night off. Bryan booked Corbin against Randy Orton tonight.
Tag Team Title Match: American Alpha © vs. The Usos
Gable and Jimmy started off the match. Gable locked in an wrist lock and tagged in Jordan who hit a double axe. Jordan and Gable worked over Jimmy’s left arm. They sent The Usos to the floor and we cut to break.
-Commercial Break-
We’re back with Jey in control of Gable with a headlock. Gable was tossed into the corner chest first. Moments later, Gable fought back and tried to tag in Jordan but Jimmy took out Jordan then hit Gable with a clothesline. Jimmy put Gable on the top rope and smashed his head off the ring post. Jimmy then missed a spear. Jordan and Jey got the hot tags. Jordan with a series of suplexes then spears to both Usos. Jordan with the Angle Slam for 2 on Jey. Jimmy with a super kick to Jordan and Jey rolled up Gable for 2. Jey with a super kick to Gable then Jimmy with a splash for a near fall. The Usos went for a double splash but Jordan and Gable knocked them off the top rope. Gable with a suplex and then they hit their tag team finisher for 2 as Jey pulled out Jordan. Jordan popped up and hit a suplex to Jimmy. Jey knocked Jordan off the apron. Gable hit a moonsault off the top rope to Jimmy. Jey tossed Gable over the barricade and Jordan hit a spear to Jey. Back in the ring, Jimmy used the middle rope to his advantage and Jey hit the super kick for the win.
Winners: The Usos.
-Commercial Break-
Luke Harper cuts a promo about Randy Orton opening pandora’s box and also destroyed it. He said that Bray Wyatt pushed Orton to destroy Sister Abigail. Harper said that he would face Bray Wyatt next week.
There was a skit of Maryse dressing up like the Bella Twins and The Miz dressed up like John Cena was shown. It was hyped as a never before seen episode of Total Bellas.
-Commercial Break-
Singles Match: Baron Corbin vs. Randy Orton
They start brawling to begin the match. Orton went for an RKO but Corbin blocked it. Corbin then sent Orton into the ring post.
-Commercial Break-
We’re back with Corbin in control of Orton. Corbin hit a clothesline for 2. Moments later, Orton hit a series of strikes and clotheslines then hit a scoope slam for 2. Orton hit a another powerslam for 2. Corbin sent Orton to the floor and Orton sent Corbin into the steel steps. Back in the ring, Orton hit a DDT off the second rope. Corbin hit the Deep Six for 2. Ambrose comes out on a forklift, which distracts Corbin and Orton hit an RKO for the win.
Winner: Orton.
Ambrose walks down to the ring and said that if Corbin wants a match at WrestleMania then he’s got it. Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds to Corbin then walked to the back.
-Commercial Break-
Orton cut a promo about how he doesn’t know how to get ride of Wyatt. The lights flickered and there were people surrounding him with sheep masks. They attacked him. Wyatt appeared and told him that he has changed. He told Orton that he has removed his one flaw and that flaw will be his greatest strength. He thanked him and sang he has the whole world in his hands.
Fandango walked out with Tyler Breeze, who was dressed as Nikki Bella.
Singles Match: John Cena vs. Fandango.
Fandango threw cards into Cena’s face. Cena hit a series of shoulder blocks then the five knuckle shuffle. Cena hit the AA to Fandango while Bella hit Breeze with the Rack Attack for the win.
Winner: Cena.
-Commercial Break-
Singles Match: Becky Lynch vs. Carmella.
Lynch started off the match with a clothesline. Ellsworth distracted Lynch and Carmella hit a super kick. Natalya, who was on commentary, ran in and attacked Carmella causing the DQ. This led to Mickie James and Alexa Bliss running down to the ring, which caused a brawl.
-Commercial Break-
There was another skit of Maryse dressing up like the Bella Twins and The Miz dressed up like John Cena was shown.
Styles was interviewed in the parking lot about his intentions. A car pulled up and Styles was about to attack but it was Heath Slater and Rhyno. Styles held off on the attack. This led to McMahon walking out to the ring. McMahon said that he is now looking for Styles. Renee Young informs Styles that McMahon is waiting on him in the arena.
-Commercial Break-
We’re back from break with McMahon in the ring and talking about how they could have talked about this. However, Styles blindsided him and that he just made his issue worse. We see Styles walking through the backstage arena out to the ring. Styles told McMahon to count to ten and calm down. He wants McMahon to understand where he is coming from. He apologized for going off the deep end and attacking him. Styles said that McMahon did him a favor and that McMahon is not like the rest of his family. Styles wants to shake hands. McMahon then attacked him and a brawl broke out. Styles suplexed him into the barricade and McMahon suplexed Styles onto the floor. McMahon hit him with a TV monitor. McMahon went to the top rope and hit an elbow drop to Styles through the announce table. This closes the show.
