John Cena appeared on Friday Night SmackDown ahead of his match with Solo Sikoa on November 4 at WWE Crown Jewel 2023 in Saudi Arabia.
Cena, who hasn’t won a singles match since 2018, cut a promo about how crucial this match is for him.
The sixteen-time world champion stated that losing the match could cause him to lose the WWE fanbase’s respect as well as his status as a WWE Superstar.
Cena was then interrupted by Paul Heyman, who promised that Sikoa would beat him at Crown Jewel 2023.
Sikoa then blindsided Cena and took him out with a Samoan Spike.

Logan Paul will challenge Rey Mysterio for the WWE United States Championship next weekend at WWE Crown Jewel 2023 in Saudi Arabia, and he got the jump on Mr. 619 on Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
Paul assaulted Mysterio backstage and laid him out with a sucker punch while the WWE Hall of Famer was watching his LWO stablemates take on The Street Profits.
The Maverick later announced on SmackDown that he was nice to Mysterio last week, but only because people should never let their opponent know your strategy.
