WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view event will take place at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan, next Saturday, with a card featuring seven confirmed bouts as of now.
Jey Uso will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in a Tribal Combat Match that will headline the show, as announced on last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown. The announcement has seen ticket sales spike with numbers surpassing 45,000 and the anticipation of reaching the 50,000 mark, as noted by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.
WrestleTix, a platform tracking wrestling ticket sales, also recently reported selling 45,420 tickets and having 2,281 left for a total setup of 47,701, with 3,214 tickets available for resale.
