Fightful Select has shared some backstage news and notes from last night’s WWE SmackDown TV tapings.
According to the report, one attendee said it was the most “outside faces” they’ve seen at SmackDown in a long time.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made a surprise appearance on SmackDown to set up his match with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40.
The Rock was reportedly backstage throughout the show. The reaction backstage to The Rock obtaining Cody Rhodes’ spot at WrestleMania XL was said to be one of “shock.”
Additionally, Michael Hayes resumed solo-producing segments at last night’s SmackDown TV tapings.
Moreover, WWE officials were happy about the buzz surrounding the new reality show, “Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez,” which debuted on Hulu yesterday.
Last but not least, Elektra Lopez has been officially called up to SmackDown.
