On a recent edition of his “Something to Wrestle” podcast, WWE executive Bruce Prichard discussed the potential induction of former WWE Tag Team Champions The Nasty Boys into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Prichard expressed his belief that The Nasty Boys are unequivocally deserving of this honor. He said,
“From my point of view, I look at them affectionately. I think, to some people that might think that they took liberties with them or what have you, look, it was a gimmick, and the gimmick was unique and different and that’s what made them stand out. So, more power to them, and I applaud the fact that they were able to do that.”
At WrestleMania VII in 1991, The Nasty Boys secured victory over The Hart Foundation, thus winning the WWE Tag Team Titles. However, their reign was short-lived as the duo was defeated at SummerSlam 1991 by The Legion of Doom.
