Cody Rhodes’ current popularity and war with the Bloodline is reminiscent of Luke Skywalker, according to Bully Ray.
On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Bully Ray compared Cody to the Star Wars lead and addressed what’s next for Rhodes. He said,
“Cody really is the Luke Skywalker of the wrestling world right now. When all this is said and done, Cody will become so strong within the WWE Universe that he’ll be able to do things babyfaces haven’t done for a long time.”
Rhodes will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40, disrupting plans for Reigns to face The Rock this April.
On this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, The Rock confirmed his heel turn with a scathing promo on the crowd and officially became a member of the Bloodline.
