Matt and Jeff Hardy should have one final match in WWE before calling it a career, according to WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff.
Matt Hardy was recently spotted at a WWE RAW TV taping and recently said that Jeff’s contract with AEW is set to expire relatively soon.
On a recent edition of his “83 Weeks” podcast, Eric Bischoff advocated for the legendary brothers to reunite for one more match in WWE. He said,
“I mean I would like to see it, right? That’s a happy ending with an amazing journey and story and two guys who have contributed a lot and made so many memorable moments.
“I’m a big supporter of Jeff and I love Jeff and his work. It is what it is, folks. I think at some point in time, it’s fair to say the wrestling industry and the demands of it probably aren’t consistent with what Jeff needs in his life.”
Matt left AEW earlier this year and has since been appearing for TNA Wrestling. The two-time former TNA World Champion has made it clear that he isn’t under contract.
