John Cena can see the potential of every WWE Superstar he steps in the ring with, according to the 16-time WWE World Champion.
While Cena used to solely work with some of WWE’s top Superstars, the wrestler-turned-actor has been facing younger stars in recent years.
On a recent edition of the “Insight” podcast, Cena spoke about seeing potential in his opponents and referenced his 2023 feud with Austin Theory. He said.
“I love WWE. I love Sports Entertainment. And I see potential in everyone I stand across the ring from. I was really close to the chest with Austin Theory when we were able to go back and forth verbally. I see so much potential in him and I want to shake him and go ‘You’re going to learn all this stuff!'”
Cena and Theory feuded in early 2023 with the brash heel winning (albeit underhandedly) at WrestleMania 39 to retain the WWE United States Championship.
