LA Knight is hoping to give his all in his first WrestleMania match next week, but acknowledges his bout may not be a show-stealer.
At the pay-per-view event, Knight will face AJ Styles who has been feuding with Knight and believes the Megastar took his spot in the Undisputed WWE Universal title picture.
In a recent interview with the Miami Herald, Knight was asked about his match and whether the bout will steal the show at WrestleMania 40. He said,
“Man, look, I don’t want to throw those kinds of predictions out there. You never know. I don’t want to promise anything like that, but AJ is a stud. I’m a stud. There’s a lot of tension going into this match, there’s a lot of animosity, there’s a lot of energy going into this match. So for damn sure, it could be as the kids say a banger. Will it be a show stealer? I don’t know. Maybe we’ll let history decide that one, but you can bet your ass is gonna be good.”
Last week, Knight ‘invaded’ the home of Styles. The Phenomenal One has been avoiding attending SmackDown shows where Knight has been present.
WWE WrestleMania 40 will take place on April 6 and April 7 from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA. It’ll be WWE’s fifth two-night WrestleMania.
