During Tuesday’s WWE NXT TV tapings for next week’s episode, Shotzi issued a challenge to Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship.
However, Shotzi suffered a knee injury during the match that will air next week and had to be assisted backstage. It was evident that she was in significant pain and was unable to put weight on her injured knee.
According to a report from Dave Meltzer, Shotzi left the venue using crutches. To fill the remaining time on the show, WWE had Lash Legend step in as a replacement for Shotzi, who has been replaced by Alba Fyre in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match against Tiffany Stratton on Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
