During last Tuesday’s WWE NXT TV tapings for tonight’s episode, Shotzi issued a challenge to Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship.
However, Shotzi suffered a knee injury during the match that will air tonight and had to be assisted backstage. It was evident that she was in a significant amount of pain and was unable to put weight on her injured knee. Shotzi left the venue using crutches.
To fill the remaining time on the show, WWE had Lash Legend step in as a replacement for Shotzi.
Pwinsider is reporting that the word making the rounds at Monday Night RAW was that Shotzi was in Birmingham, Alabama, possibly preparing for knee surgery.
