The Rock will make his WWE in-ring return at WrestleMania 40 (Night One), where he will team with Roman Reigns to face off against Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.
In a recent YouTube video, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley shared his thoughts on The Rock’s recent WWE TV segments and why he is a fan of ‘The Final Boss’ gimmick.
Foley said, “I liked it, yeah. I like that beat-down. I like that other side of The Rock. It would have been really easy for him to just lean back into what was comfortable because that’s like an easy chair for The Rock because he knows that character so well. So to put a twist on it, come out with a harder edge…little blood in the right place never hurt anybody. I think it was really good, and only is gonna pique interest. It certainly piqued mine.”
Naomi returned to WWE at the 2024 Royal Rumble pay-per-view event earlier this year, and it turns out that she never had any doubt about returning to the Endeavor-owned promotion.
During a recent appearance on the “Going Ringside” podcast, Naomi spoke about returning “home.”
She said, “It’s been a rollercoaster ride, but it’s been a great journey and I’m extremely excited and happy to be back. Working my way back to the top. WWE is home. It was never a doubt about returning. It was just a matter of when and me wanting to prove some things and do some things that I needed to do for myself. I did that. I accomplished that. It was just time. I missed it so much. WWE is always family.”
