As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, Shotzi suffered a knee injury at Tuesday night’s WWE NXT TV tapings at the Performance Center in Orlando, FL.
Due to the injury, she was unable to compete in her scheduled women’s Elimination Chamber qualifying match on SmackDown. Instead, Zelina Vega stepped in and faced Tiffany Stratton while Noami faced off against Alba Fyre.
Shotzi took to Twitter to comment on her match being pulled from the show. She wrote,
“I don’t have much to say right now other than I am devastated. It’s heartbreaking to be missing my Elimination Chamber opportunity tonight. But I just wanted to wish all the women competing good luck. I’ll open up more about how I’m feeling and my injury later. @WWE”
