Tatum Paxley embraced her darker side on this week’s episode of WWE NXT, but her heel turn was a closely guarded secret at this week’s TV tapings.
On the April 9, episode of WWE NXT, Paxley turned on Lyra Valkyria who was seeking a rematch with new WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez.
Fightful Select is reporting that Paxley’s turn was not rehearsed ahead of the show. It’s added that the turn was a secret and “kept to those involved in NXT’s opening segment.”
Paxley joined WWE in August 2021. Her angle with Valkyria began in late 2023 with Tatum being a ‘stalker’ of the then-NXT Women’s Champion.
