During Saturday’s WWE WrestleMania 40 (Night One) pay-per-view event, The Bloodline (The Rock & Roman Reigns) defeated Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the main event.
Victory seemed within reach for Rhodes and Rollins after Reigns accidentally speared The Rock in the middle of the ring.
However, the momentum didn’t last long for the babyfaces as The Final Boss abused his executive powers to silence the referee and interfere with the rules of the match.
This eventually led to The Rock blasting Rhodes with a People’s Elbow and Rockbottom for the win.
As a result of the win, Reigns will get to defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Rhodes in a Bloodline Rules match tomorrow night at WrestleMania 40 (Night Two).
