New WWE Speed Champion Ricochet will soon have a challenger as a tournament has begun to determine the number one contender.
Ricochet won the title earlier this month in the finals of a tournament that saw him beat Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, and finally, Johnny Gargano.
This week, Viking Raider Ivar defeated Apollo Crews to advance in the new tournament to determine Ricochet’s challenger. He will face either Berto or Dragon Lee in the next round.

On this week’s episode of WWE RAW, Ricochet lost to Ilja Dragunov in the King of the Ring tournament. Despite his recent title win, Ricochet spoke about constantly losing after the match.
