The WWE WrestleMania 40 card is coming together a week away from the show, including a six-pack ladder match featuring Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Finn Balor & Damian Priest vs. #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) vs. Awesome Truth (The Miz & R-Truth) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs. Grayson Waller & Austin Theory vs. Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate.
Waller & Theory and Dunne & Bate earned the final two spots in the ladder match during Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown. Waller & Theory defeated The Street Profits, while Dunne & Bate emerged victorious against Angel & Humberto in the tournament on SmackDown.
During today’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that a meeting is scheduled this week to determine if Waller and Theory will still participate in the match. The reasons for a potential replacement or removal are unknown at this time.
