Xavier Woods’ time away from the ring has allowed the 2021 King of the Ring winner to reset and recharge.

Woods has not competed since the May 15, episode of RAW, when he lost to the Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio.

Speaking on WWE’s “The Bump,” Woods addressed his time out of action. He said,

“Honestly, it’s been a good little reset, you know? Next year will be 20 years in wrestling for me, so being able to take a couple of weeks and … mentally reset, and then kind of reset your body as well — it’s good for the mind.”

Woods’ New Day allies Kofi Kingston and Big E are both out of action with injuries, though Kofi is expected to be back soon.
