Zack Sabre Jr. has added another impressive accolade to his career by becoming the very first NJPW World Television Champion.
Sabre picked up the victory by tapping out Ren Narita with an armbar after working on Narita’s arm throughout the match.
After the match, Sabre was confronted by Shane Haste and Mikey Nicholls who offered him a spot in TMDK.
Sabre accepted the invitation and a t-shirt from the group, marking his first faction since Suzuki-gun disbanded.

In the NJPW World Television Championship tournament, ZSJ dispatched of Alex Zayne, David Finlay, and Evil on his way to the finals at Wrestle Kingdom 17.
During his entrance, Sabre referenced ongoing healthcare strikes in his native UK, told Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to pay nurses a living wage, and branded the Conservative party leader a “d*ckhead.”
