Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Semifinals Match: Samoa Joe vs. Johnny Elite

A great match between these two. But Joe is able to hit the muscle buster for the win in the end.

Winner: Samoa Joe

Immediately after the match, Jay Lethal Sonjay Dutt, and Satna Singh immediately attacked Joe. The Best Friends and Rocky Romero hit the ring for the save.

We get a backstage interview with Matt and Jeff Hardy. It’s revealed that Jeff is medically cleared to compete. The Young Bucks interrupt and insult Jeff Hardy, saying Adam Cole is going to kick his ass tonight. Matt Hardy calls The Young Bucks “Hardy cosplayers.” Matt threatens that the Bucks that, if they interfere, Cole won’t be the only member of The Elite that gets their ass whipped.

CM Punk is out to join commentary for our next match.

Hangman Page vs. Konosuke Takeshita

Page was able to pull off the win, looking directly at Punk, who was on commentary, hitting Punk’s Go To Sleep for the win. Page and Takeshita put on an amazing match together.

Winner: Hangman Page

Swerve and Keith Lee vs. JD Drake and Anthony Henry

Lee and Swerve win in a squash match here.

Winners: Swerve and Keith Lee

Lee gets on the mic and hypes up the Texas crowd. He says he has some wonderful news. Lee says with their win, he and Swerve are now a top-five ranked tag team. They’re interuppted by Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs. The pair trade insults before Christian and Jurassic Express come out to interrupt as well.

Christian challenges all three teams to a Triple Threat Tag Team match for the Tag Team Titles at Double Or Nothing. He then challenges for Swerve Strickland vs. Jungle Boy vs. Ricky Stars next week on Dynamite.

MJF is out to the ring now with Shawn Spears. MJF bashes the Texas crowd before threatening Wardlow to not touch him during his lashing. Wardlow is now escorted out to the ring. MJF spits in Wardlow’s face as he gets in the ring. MJF begins with one whip, but only gets a smile from Wardlow.

MJF lets several more fly off but gets zero reaction from MJF, which makes him go crazy. Now Spears takes his jacket off and he takes the belt. One big lash from Spears and again, no reaction from Wardlow. One more from Spears and that one gets a reaction from Wardlow. Instead of the final lash, MJF nails Wardlow with a low blow, and he begins beating and choking Wardlow with the belt. MJF puts on his ring and nails Wardlow with it. The pair beat Wardlow down and celebrate to end the segment.

Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Qualifier: Kyle O’Reilly vs. Rey Fenix

O’Reilly pulled off a great finish by reversing a rolling attack from Fenix into an armbar. He made Fenix tap for the win after a solid bout.

Winner: Kyle O’Reilly

Bryan Danielson is out to the ring along with William Regal. Jon Moxley is out right after them, along with Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz. The Jericho Appreciation Society is out next. Jericho cancels the singalong because the fans cheered on as he and the JAS were attacked last week.

Jericho said it’s good to see Regal, especially because he thought Regal would be dead by now. He said Regal should’ve been a World Class Champion ten times over, but instead became a world class addict. He also took a shot at Regal for being fired for every company he has ever worked for. Jericho takes aim at everyone in the ring, insulting them individually.

Regal said every time Jericho would wrestle throughout the years, he’d go into his locker room, take his toothbrush, and stick it up his butt. Jon Moxley says it’s going to be the JAS five vs. their own five. Jericho accepted. Eddie Kingston calls for the JAS to get into the ring so they can fight. Jericho says no and they all retreat. Danielson stops Kingston from going after them, and then Kingston and Danielson start scuffling before being separated.

Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Quarterfinals: Britt Baker vs. Maki Itoh

Baker is able to pick up the submission win over her former tag team partner to advance.

Winner: Britt Baker

After the match, Toni Storm comes out to the ramp to stare down Baker ahead of their semifinal match next week.

Serena Deeb interrupts Tony Schiavone, who was trying to hype up next week’s AEW Dynamite. She insults Schiavone for picking Thunder Rose over herself, and also calls out Dustin Rhodes, telling him off for the same reason. Deeb smacks Rhodes and out comes Thunder Rosa who tries to retaliate. Rhodes stops her from attacking, but eats a shot from Rosa on accident. Deeb then takes the opportunity to nail Rosa with the title, taking it as well.

Jeff Hardy is out first to the ring, and Adam Cole attacks him from behind, getting the match started right off the bat.

Owen Hart Foundation Semifinals: Adam Cole vs. Jeff Hardy

Adam Cole picked up the win with a nice running knee to Hardy’s face after rolling away from a swanton bomb.

Winner: Adam Cole

Matt Hardy and Cole exchange words after the match. The Young Bucks come out to distract The Hardys while Cole clotheslines them both. Sting and Darby Allin hit the ring for the save. Now Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly are out to clean up Allin, but Sting takes them bout out. The Young Bucks take out Sting with a super kick, and use a chair to crush Sting’s ankle as we go off air.
