AEW Rampage Results (3/18/2022)
#1. Darby Allin (w/ Sting) vs. The Butcher (w/ The Blade) — Winner: Darby Allin by countout
Immediately after, the AFO arrive to put a beat down on Sting & Darby Allin. The Hardys rush out to save their new allies and the AFO retreat. Matt Hardy gets on the mic and tells them to get their asses in the ring, let’s do it right now. The AFO get up on the apron and tease a confrontation, but they back out at the last moment. Forever the business man, Andrade sees nothing in this.
Matt Hardy calls them chickenshit and offers them to a match on this coming week’s Dynamite in a 8-man Texas Tornado Tag match. The Butcher, Blade & Private Party versus The Hardys, Darby Allin & Sting. Andrade El Idolo isn’t ready to answer the challenge yet.
#2. ‘Legit’ Leyla Hirsch vs. Red Velvet — Winner: Red Velvet*
*Hirsch tried using a turnbuckle rod on Velvet, but Statlander snatched it away and gave Velvet the chance to put her away.
#3. Fuego Del Sol & Bear Country vs. House of Black’s Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Matthews — Winners: House of Black
Penta says thank you to the House of Black for changing us. In this life there is only two things in life that is guaranteed, one of which is that the Death Triangle is inevitable. Cero Miedo!
#4. Max Caster (w/ Anthony Bowens) vs. Keith Lee — Winner: Keith Lee
Powerhouse Hobbs heads to the ring to confront Keith Lee, so Ricky Starks leaves commentary to help him. The Acclaimed join their beat down, before Swerve Strickland arrives with a steel chair and they flee as they want nothing to do with him. Keith Lee and Strickland shake hands, showing they have each other’s back in future.
