AEW Dynamite Results (1/24/2024)
Samoa Joe welcomes us to Dynamite. Tonight is a night of celebration. No more will opportunities be given, because they will be earned. Someone will claim a title shot, which is an opportunity to have the worst night of their life. He will beat them down and take everything from them.
Hook interrupts and has a microphone. Samoa Joe won last week, while he lost. Hook gets close and tells Joe that he doesn’t know when, but he will see him again. Joe tells security to get Hook out of the ring. They enter to escort Hook out, but he takes out a few before deciding to leave of his own freewill. Samoa Joe joins the commentary table for the next match
#1. “Hangman” Adam Page vs. Penta El Zero Miedo – Winner: Hangman Page
Orange Cassidy says some guys can wrestle on Rampage, and the winner will face him for the International title on Collision.
#2. Trent Beretta (w/ Best Friends) vs. Wardlow (w/ Undisputed Kingdom) – Winner: Wardlow
Toni Storm and Deonna Purrazzo have a face off. Storm says that Purrazzo was recently body shamed, and that is a shame, because there is so much more to insult. She may be the greatest technical wrestler in the world today, but if she steps in the ring with her, she will twist her lips so hard she will need an epidural.
Purrazzo says she wants the old Toni Storm who lived in her house, and was arguably the best in the world, and she is the one she wants to beat. Deonna is begging her to find that version of herself. If she needs a reminder, have a look at her ankle. They both have the same tattoo. Toni may have everyone else fooled, but not her. Storm says she can take her tattoo and blow it out of her bumhole. A fight breaks out, and we see Luther get kneed in the face, before Storm & May run away. Purrazzo poses with the Women’s World Championship.
Jon Moxley lets us know that he does not know many matches the BCC has won, but it is a lot. They don’t have time to think about the past, because there is always another match around the corner. In 2024, he will torture anyone who isn’t getting with the program. He is going to give every bit of his heart and soul to provide for the people, every single time.
Johnny TV and Taya Valkyrie are finally put together, and Taya is annoyed that Deonna Purrazzo has jumped the line to get a title shot, so they will have a match next week.
#3. Jeff Hardy (w/ Matt Hardy) vs. Swerve Strickland (w/ Prince Nana) – Winner: Swerve Strickland
There’s a confrontation backstage between Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland. It is suggested they pick each others matches for next, and they agree.
#4. Thunder Rosa vs. Red Velvet – Winner: Thunder Rosa
Darby Allin & Sting talk in the ring Tony Schiavone. Darby talks about the impact Sting has had on his career. In his first year of wrestling, he saw Sting hurt his neck and have his career cut short. When he got to AEW, he told Sting to get in his ring on his own terms, and years later, they are undefeated. The rankings would put them on top as a tag team, so they want the tag team titles. Sting has still got it. He accepts Darby’s challenge to go for the tag team titles.
Backstage, the tag team champions Ricky Starks and Big Bill say they will end Sting’s career. It will not be a happy ending.

#6. Adam Copeland vs. Minoru Suzuki – Winner: Copeland with Killswitch
Adam tells Suzuki he respects him and asks for a handshake, but it is declined. Again, Copeland warns Christian Cage he is coming for him.
