Impact Wrestling Results (12/15/2022)

#1. Eddie Edwards vs. Delirious — Winner: Eddie Edwards

Afterward, Edwards hit Delirious with a cheat shot and drilled with the Die Hard Driver. Here comes Jonathan Gresham! No one saw this coming. He won’t stand for this dishonor and disrespect. Edwards gets out of there before any trouble starts.

Scott D’Amore didn’t like Josh’s plan last week, but it turned out better than he thought. He’s a wrestling machine. Josh says Mike Bailey is the real deal. If you thought last week was unwise, he won’t like it this week when he calls out Bully Ray. D’Amore says not to lose track of this, he has his match with him at the PPV.

Alexander is still pissed about what he did to his wife, but Scott says these are different waters than he has been in before, so don’t go out there. Do him a favor and show him some respect by letting it go. Tommy Dreamer walks in and wants to apologize. He said they could trust Bully, but he was wrong and he’s sorry. D’Amore said Dreamer was honest, even if he was wrong. He doesn’t lie. Josh implies that Tommy could be in on this with Bully, which is immediately denied.

#2. Bully Ray vs. John Skyler — Winner: Bully Ray

Tommy Dreamer makes his way to the ring and gets some “EC-DUB” chants. He says that there is history between him and Bully. They were friends and he vouched for him. He was the gullible one because for once he thought he changed. He’s getting his ass kicked at Hard To Kill, and Tommy is a 50-year old man who doesn’t want any part of his drama. They still have to work together on the podcast, but they don’t need to work close anymore. Bitch, he just put him on the spot.

Bully gets handed a microphone as Tommy is walking away. He says yep, keep walking away. Don’t turn around, because at the end of the day, for 20 years he has learned that he is a jealous coward. The heart & soul of pro wrestling. At the end of the day, he is a nobody. If Devon walked in his shadow, he walked ten steps behind at all times. Bully was a bigger star than him in ECW, he was a bigger star than him in WWE, and he was a bigger star than him right here in Impact. Bigger star all over the world.

Some might say he is a failure in the wrestling business. Tommy starts getting back in the ring… he’s getting mad. Bully says he won’t take a swing. When he got in the best shape of his life, Tommy turned into a fat bastard who sits in the back. Remember when Ace Austin got laid out in the back? Of course it was him. And he knew Tommy would stick up for him, so he did the same thing to him than he has to everyone else. He used him and got what he wanted.

The truth hurts, and he can see him crying on television, you bitch. Tommy’s Mother is in the hospital, but Bully doesn’t give a damn about that. Dreamer says he fights these mental issues everyday, but back in the day he was the Innovator Of Violence, and if he wants a fight let’s do this right now. Bully smirks at him and walks off.

#3. The Major Players, Brian Myers & Matt Cardona vs. Decay’s Crazzy Steve & Black Taurus — Winners: The Major Players*

*Trey Miguel attacked and tagged Crazzy Steve before the match, giving The Major players an advantage

Jordynne Grace & Mickie James sit down with Scott D’Amore for a backstage contract signing. Either Mickie James becomes the Knockouts Champion again, or this is the last time she will wrestle. Grace says she knows how much this match means to the both of them, so she will do her speaking in the ring.

James says she is acting like it’s a foregone conclusion that she is going to win, and that she won’t have a chance to say her piece. Jordynne says she just wants her to have her moment. Mickie has had a lot of moments against some of the greatest in the ring, moments she can only dream about. At Hard To Kill, she will have one more. Tasha Steelz & Savannah Evans walk in and say this is a sham. Mickie said she would go through everyone, but she hasn’t beaten Tasha Steelz.

She beat her not once, but twice, so this rodeo is not complete without her. They will have a match and Tasha will end her. Mickie says they have a lot of time until Hard To Kill, and she will kick her ass before then. Scott D’Amore says if everyone wants to fight so bad, next week we will have Tasha Steelz & Savannah Evans versus Jordynne Grace & Mickie James.

Mike Bailey says if Kenny King wants a match, then fair enough, but if he’s just playing mind games? He’s not going for that. He will keep doing his best to climb to the top.

#4. Angels (w/ The Design’s Deaner & Kon) vs. Sami Callihan — Winner: Sami Callihan

Kon blindsides Callihan after the bell. Deaner directs traffic, telling The Design to finish him off. Deaner disrespectfully walks over Sami, and then sits on him.

Gisele Shaw would like to get the band back together with Deonna Purrazzo, but she tells Shaw that she broke up the band. Deonna says she should apologize for ruining her best friend’s career. She would like a fresh start, but Purrazzo says they already failed. Gisele knows that Deonna is owed a title rematch, and with Chelsea Green gone, they should team up and take the titles. Reluctantly, Purrazzo agrees, and they start talking strategy.

It looks like Taylor Wilde is introducing a new gimmick full of tarot cards and dark voodoo magic. I did not see that coming. In other news… I believe in Joe Hendry!

#5. Johnny Swinger & Zicky Dice vs. Joe Hendry & Bhupinder Gujjar — Winners: Gujjar & Hendry**

**Mid-match, Moose failed to attack Joe Hendry and scared him to the back with a steel chair, leaving Gujjar to take on Swinger & Dice by himself.

#6. [World Tag Team Championship] Rhino & Heath (c) vs. The Motor City Machine Guns — Winners: The Motor City Machine Guns become the new champions!

Thank you to everyone for following our live coverage. That could not have been a better way to end this. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Impact Wrestling forever.
