Welcome to another edition of WWE Recap Report — a breakdown of the biggest takeaways of the week from WWE programming for those who may have missed out.
Whether you need to catch up on a show, had too busy of a week to stay on top of the breaking news or just skipped out on WWE as a whole, I’ve got you covered.
Obviously, not every single thing will be recapped here in detail. But this is your TL;DR of the week to be caught up to speed before the next Monday Night Raw so you’re not left in the dark.
With that being said, here is a quick rundown of this week in WWE.
MONDAY NIGHT RAW
- KO Show: Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins had Chad Gable and Otis on to talk trash about each other. They then defeated Alpha Academy by pinfall.
- Omos defeated T-Bar by pinfall.
- Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan defeated Becky Lynch, Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop by pinfall.
- Tommaso Ciampa defeated Robert Roode by pinfall. The Dirty Dawgs beat him down after the match to make a statement about their tag team match on NXT the next night.
- Dana Brooke and Reggie defeated Tamina and Akira Tozawa by pinfall. Brooke kissed Reggie again. Then, Tamina picked up Tozawa and planted a kiss on him in return.
- Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin defeated The Mysterios by pinfall after a distraction by The Miz.
- The Street Profits defeated RK-Bro by pinfall.
- United States Championship Match: Finn Balor defeated Damian Priest by pinfall to win the title!
- AJ Styles accepted Edge’s challenge for WrestleMania. Edge said he wants the bulldog version of Styles and not the guy who was playing tag team bitch to Omos the past year. The Rated-R Superstar took the first shot and attacked Styles, eventually hitting him with a low blow and looking crazed before giving him a con-chair-to twice.
NXT
- Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa defeated Dirty Dawgs by pinfall
- Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament: Dakota Kai and Wendy Choo defeated Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta by pinfall.
- Lash Legend defeated Amari Miller by pinfall.
- GUNTHER defeated Solo Sikoa by pinfall.
- Harland defeated Draco Anthony by pinfall.
- Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament: Cora Jade and Raquel Gonzalez defeated Valentina Feroz and Yulissa Leon by pinfall.
- Von Wagner defeated Andre Chase by pinfall.
- Carmelo Hayes retained the NXT North American Championship over Pete Dunne by pinfall.
MAIN EVENT
- Veer Mahaan defeated a local competitor
- Austin Theory defeated Apollo Crews
NXT UK
- Mark Coffey defeated Sha Samuels by pinfall.
- Earlier this week, Charlie Dempsey spoke to A-Kid about how he’s not really like the person he’s been acting like with Die Familie. Teoman and Rohan Raja then jumped A-Kid and Dempsey took a split second to stop them, but joined in.
- Vignette: Isla Dawn will stand tall and win the NXT UK Women’s Championship.
- Moustache Mountain talked to Oliver Carter and Ashton Smith. Trent Seven said he didn’t cheat, he was just better and did anything he needed to do to retain the titles. Smith and Carter want a rematch. Tyler Bate agreed.
- Dave Mastiff and Jack Starz defeated Pretty Deadly by pinfall.
- Backstage, Xia Brookside complained to her dad on the phone and asked for his help.
- Ilja Dragunov defeated Nathan Frazer by pinfall to retain the NXT UK Championship.
FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN
- With some help from Johnny Knoxville causing a distraction, Ricochet defeated Sami Zayn by pinfall to win the Intercontinental Championship.
- Austin Theory came out to talk trash about Pat McAfee and slap him. He’s McAfee’s opponent for WrestleMania.
- Naomi defeated Carmella by pinfall.
- Backstage, Happy Corbin, Madcap Moss and some extras were playing cards. Corbin talked about how he’ll keep his winning streak going and beat Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania.
- Drew McIntyre defeated Jinder Mahal by pinfall.
- The Usos jumped Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs from behind on the entrance ramp. Roman Reigns then cut a promo.
- The Usos retained the SmackDown Tag Team Championship over The Viking Raiders by pinfall.
- Big E vs Sheamus didn’t officially start. Instead, Ridge Holland attacked Kofi Kingston from behind. Then, he and Sheamus drove The New Day’s ATV away and smashed it up.
- Ronda Rousey defeated Sonya Deville by submission.
NXT LEVEL UP
- Dante Chen defeated Javier Bernal
- Tiffany Stratton defeated Erica Yan
- Legado del Fantasma (Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde) defeated Edris Enofe and Malik Blade
