We open the show with Randy Orton. He says regardless of what show he lands on, one thing will remain the same. He will be locked inside Hell In a Cell and he’ll become WWE Champion. 2020 has been a hell of a year, and it’s been the year of Drew McIntyre.

He’s become one of the main faces of WWE, but he beat McInyre last week and he hasn’t lost by pinfall in almost a year, and if that’s not a sign of things to come, then he’s mistake. Orton will pin Drew again and end his legacy and take his title with the RK-and out comes Drew.

Drew congratulated Orton for pinning him, but what he didn’t expect was for him to gloat when he was on the ground. That was a mistake because he got back up. Kicking him in the skull at Clash of Champions was for everyone he’s made suffer. But at Hell In a Cell, it will be for him.

Drew remembers that he made a promise that every time they were in the same building together, he’d kick the crap out of him and he doesn’t want to break a promise. Drew enters the ring and brawls with Orton. They take the fight outside. McIntyre suplexes Orton on the table and Randy then escapes.

Stephanie McMahon receives the first draft picks backstage. In the first round, RAW selects The Fiend, Randy Orton and Charlotte Flair, while SmackDown selects Bayley and The Street Profits.

Kevin Owens vs. Aliester Black – No Disqualification

Owens wins with a Stunner and a powerbomb through a table.

Winner: Kevin Owens

In the next round of the draft, RAW takes Braun Strowman, Matt Riddle and Jeff Hardy while SmackDown selects Daniel Bryan and Kevin Owens.

It’s time for Miz TV with Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke. Before they do, they poke fun at New Day splitting. Mandy Rose said being traded to RAW was petty because of being separated from Otis. Miz and Morrison tells Mandy she should be thankful because she’s winning. Brooke says she’s not jealous like Miz and Morrison wants her to believe. She says she’s not Sonya.

Miz mentions the battle royale for the number 1 contendership of Asuka’s title. Mandy tells Dana may the best woman win. Lana and Natalya come out and hypes up Natalya and Lana plugs her social media. Mandy tells Lana if she spent less time on TikTok and more on her ring skills, she’d actually win some more before all four brawl. The faces clear the ring.

Miz and Morrison are still in the ring before Lars Sullivan arrives. Miz escapes and makes quick work of Morrison.

Adam Pearce oversees New Day and Street Profits exchange their titles. Ziggler and Roode are mad that Street Profits are leaving before getting what they’re owed. Roode and Ziggler issue a challenge and New Day answer it. Rollins is backstage preparing to deliver his farewell message.

Stephanie McMahon is back out. New Day will defend their titles against Roode and Ziggler tonight. In the third round, RAW selects RETRIBUTION, Keith Lee and Alexa Bliss while SmackDown selects Lars Sullivan and King Corbin.

Rollins comes out and declares the end of an era and knows it’s difficult for us. We’re losing a purveyor of the greater good, a slayer of monsters and the greatest leader in RAW history. He looks at the RAW roster and wonders if anyone can fill the void he leaves behind and he is saddened to say there isn’t one. It’s not gonna be Dominik or Rey Mysterio because unfortunately they are on SmackDown as well.

It’s a sad moment for him until Jeff Hardy interrupts him. Seth says he was looking for a leader, and it’s not Jeff so he orders him to leave his ring. Jeff says it’s his ring now since he’s a RAW star now. Rollins tells Hardy he should be worried more about his match against Lars Sullivan on Friday. Then out comes AJ Styles.

AJ greets Seth as he walks up the ramp and greets him back before he says this was never Monday Night Rollins. Seth walks back down the ramp and gets in AJ’s face before Hardy attacks both of them and challenges them to a triple threat.

Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles vs. Jeff Hardy

After Hardy hits a Twist of Fate on Styles, a returning Elias strikes Hardy in the back with the guitar and Styles pins him for the win.

Winner: AJ Styles

Elias stares Jeff down after from the ramp.

In the next round, RAW selects Elias, Lacey Evans and Sheamus while SmackDown selects Sami Zayn, Nakamura and Cesaro.

Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke vs. Natalya and Lana

Dana Brooke pins Lana with a senton.

Winners: Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke

After the match, Natalya tells Lana she’s done with her.

The Hurt Business are backstage and Ricochet comes to them with a proposition. He realizes if Apollo goes to SmackDown, he might be by himself, and it’s not good business for either himself or The Hurt Business if he keeps getting jumped every week. He may be a glutton for punishment, but he’s willing to take his chances. If Ricochet defeats any member of them, they squash their beef and go their separate ways, but if he loses, he joins The Hurt Business. Alexander takes the challenge, and it’s set.

Angel Garza vs. Andrade

Zelina’s on commentary. Garza wins with the Wing Clipper.

Winner: Angel Garza

After the match, Zelina checks on Andrade before the lights go out and Alexa appears in the ring upside down and The Fiend come from behind. Bliss and The Fiend each hit Sister Abagail.

In the next round of the draft, RAW selects Nikki Cross, R-Truth and Dabba-Kato while SmackDown selects Ziggler and Roode and Apollo Crews.

The New Day (C) vs. Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler – RAW Tag Team Championships

New Day retain with the Midnight Hour.

Winners: The New Day

Elias is backstage and is asked about what he did tonight. Elias said tonight was about payback and while everyone forgave Jeff, he hasn’t. Charly says Jeff wasn’t responsible, and Elias says he knows who hit him and a car can’t stop him. He spent time soul-searching, and he says on October 26th, his new album, Universal Truth, will be out. And he’ll deliver an unforgettable concert next week.

Cedric Alexander vs. Ricochet – If Ricochet Loses, He Must Join The Hurt Business

Hurt Business slide a chair in the ring while the ref is knocked out. Ricochet takes the chair, slams it on the mat and pulls an Eddie, winning the match by DQ.

Winner by DQ: Ricochet

Keith Lee vs. Braun Strowman is announced for next week.

In the final round, RAW selects Titus O’Neil, Peyton Royce and Akira Tozawa while SnackDown selects Carmella and Aliester Black.

RAW Women’s Championship #1 Contender Battle Royal

Natalya is able to eliminate Lacey Evans, but Lana, who was never eliminated, sneaks from under the ring to earn the number 1 contendership.

Winner: Lana

McIntyre and Orton appear and continue to brawl throughout ringside and have to be separated by officials.
