WWE RAW (2/12/2024)

#1. Jey Uso, Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston vs. Imperium’s Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci – Winners: Jey Uso & New Day

Andrade tells us about his past. He became a champion at 13-years-old. When he got to WWE, he became a NXT and United States Champion. Three years ago, he needed to leave to remember who he was. Now he is back, he knows the direction is clear.

#2. [Elimination Chamber Qualifier] Bobby Lashley vs. Bronson Reed Winner: Bobby Lashley

In an interview before the show, Sami Zayn says any sportsperson who loses may feel some embarrassment. He has an unwavering belief in himself, and last year, he told Cody Rhodes that if he wants to main event WrestleMania he has to believe in himself. Sami says he will become a champion someday, and it is a tough road to walk but… Shinsuke Nakamura interrupts him. He says Sami had his moments, he had his glory. And now he wants people’s sympathy? He is like Cody. Nakamura would love to see Sami’s true self in the ring tonight. If he does not let his real emotions out, he will not tolerate it. He will pick up his soul and continue his warpath forward.

Cody Rhodes enters to a loud reaction. We could talk about the main event of WrestleMania XL, where he will face Roman Reigns for the title. People spread the word, and the word was “We Want Cody”. He thanks the people. He doesn’t really know how he can ever repay them… or maybe there is one way? They are making him a little bit emotional. He doesn’t want to do that, because then he would be a crybaby. Cody shows us what The Rock said about Cody’s fans on the Pat McAfee show.

Cody has to ask… what are we supposed to do with the nuggets? Pat says he was supposed to shove them up his ass, apparently. Cody is a fan of The Rock, and I think everyone has been a fan of his at some point. But still, he doesn’t listen, and that is why he slapped him despite him not insulting his ancestors. The Rock & Roman Reigns together is the perfect storm, but make no mistake about it, The Rock put his hands on him. What that means is he is going to hit him back. Seth Rollins enters.

Cody thanks Seth for having his back at the press conference. Rollins says that as much as was looking forward to defending the title, he understands his decision. He has got to finish that story, and there are millions around the world who want that, too. Now the decision is made, Seth makes it clear that he needs to finish the story, otherwise Roman Reigns gets even more power. He shows up less, and defends it less. The glass ceiling gets higher. This is the best time to take it and give the power back to the people. He might be the man for the job, but Cody, what’s the plan? Last year, he got screwed.

He doesn’t just have The Bloodline to deal, he also has to deal with The Rock. He does not have to fight this battle alone. When Cody said he wanted to take everything from Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins felt that deep down. He is sick of these power hungry pricks getting away with whatever they want. Rollins admits that the man Roman Reigns is, is partly his fault. They were brothers forged from the same fire. He taught him so much, and could not imagine the monster he has become. A monster that now has two heads, because he stands with a guy who is as entitled as he is.

When it comes to fighting The Bloodline, The Rock, and Roman Reigns, there is only one man on Earth who is uniquely suited to be his shield. He was an architect, and now he is a visionary, and a revolutionary called Seth “Freakin'” Rollins.

Backstage, it is confirmed that Jey Uso will face Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship next week.

#3. [Elimination Chamber Qualifier] Liv Morgan vs. Zoey Stark Winner: Liv Morgan

Damian Priest delivers the harsh truth to R-Truth that he is, and never was in Judgment Day. Tonight will be an execution.

#4. JD McDonagh (w/ Judgment Day) vs. R-Truth Winner: JD McDonagh

Judgment Day attack R-Truth, who stands his ground a while, but a punch from Priest takes him down. DIY show up with steel chairs to even the odds.

Becky Lynch gets to the ring and talks about some of the things her daughter says to her. And while she will see her Mother’s face smashed against the steel, she will also see the brutality she can deliver. The fans dig “Mami”, but she hasn’t faced anyone like her. Becky asks everyone to toast Rhea Ripley’s last few weeks as champion. Nia Jax makes herself present. She has something to say to Becky.

If her Mother was half the Mother Becky is, she would be so lucky. Nia gets emotional and tells Lynch she will win the match at Elimination Chamber. There is nothing that is going to stop her. Just like nothing is going to stop her beating Rhea Ripley to become the new champion. Ripley has heard enough and rushes to the ring to take down Nia Jax, who is forced out of the ring by her and Becky Lynch.

Drew McIntyre warns Cody Rhodes. There are two things he doesn’t need right now. Being in his prayers, and being in a match with him next week.

#5. [Elimination Chamber Qualifier] LA Knight vs. Ivar (w/ Valhalla) Winner: LA Knight

#6. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Sami Zayn Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura with an assist from Drew McIntyre

While Drew McIntyre & Shinsuke Nakamura think about attacking Sami Zayn, Cody Rhodes pops up to stop that. Cody Rhodes & Sami Zayn hold the ring to close the show.
