WWE RAW (3/4/2024)
Cody Rhodes is in the ring to address The Rock’s challenge. It is true they had a talk, where he told Cody the people didn’t want to see him face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. And he thought that might be true until he heard the fans chant something else. He invites Seth Rollins out to the ring, who asks what he is thinking.
Cody said he offered to help him with The Bloodline. He says The Rock & Roman Reigns are two Mount Rushmore wrestlers, so he would understand if he wants to focus on Drew. Rollins told him last week there are something’s bigger than them, and taking down The Bloodline is one of them. This is his story, too.
When Seth & Roman started in WWE, they wanted to take all the power. The difference is Seth wanted to give it back to the people, while Roman wants to keep it for himself. With The Rock in The Bloodline, Reigns is so close to having absolute power. As for The Rock, he is pretty much over him. He hasn’t been The Rock or The People’s Champ for a long time. Rollins has a new name for The Rock. How about Diarrhea Dwayne? Because that is all he spews. We get a “diarrhea” chant.
Rock gets online, insults Cody’s dog, and threatens to take Seth’s title away. He also said he made pro wrestling cool again. He saved us. The Rock hasn’t been cool in twenty years. This morning, he received 100% medical clearance. The World Champion is ready to go, so this Friday he will be at SmackDown to confront The Bloodline.
Cody has a message for The Rock. It has been a long time since he hasn’t just been handed something. He isn’t going to whine in a twenty-minute promo. They will stand face-to-face and give them a clear answer for what will happen at WrestleMania.

#2. [#1 Contender for Women’s Tag Team Championship] Kayden Carter & Katana Chance vs. Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark – Winners: Baszler & Stark
Dakota Kai says that when Damage CTRL are done with their match on NXT, they will come Baszler & Stark’s way to make them cry, just like they did to Bayley.
#3. Nia Jax vs. Becky Lynch – Winner: Nia Jax by DQ after Liv Morgan’s interference
A fight breaks out between the three women, with Nia Jax landing the exclamation point with a leg drop to Liv Morgan.
Adam Pearce is ready to make his announcement in regards to the future of the Intercontinental Championship. He has zeroed in on six men who could potentially challenge for the title: Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bronson Reed, JD McDonagh, Ricochet, and Chad Gable. Next week, they will be in a Gauntlet match to decide who will face Gunther at WrestleMania.
#4. Andrade El Idolo vs. Apollo Crews – Winner: Andrade
Sami Zayn says the Gauntlet match is a must-win for him. The Viking Raiders tell him that he doesn’t sound convinced. Ivar knows he can beat Gunther, but Sami does not know he has what it takes to beat Gunther. Zayn tells Ivar he can beat him, so a challenge is accepted for a match tonight.
#5. Judgment Day’s Finn Balor & Damian Priest vs. Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci – Winners: Judgment Day
Drew McIntyre calls Seth Rollins a spotlight junkie. So long as he shows up to WrestleMania, he will put him down and take that title because it deserves better. As for Jey Uso, he knows how much he needs this victory, but there is no way he is defeating him tonight.
#6. Sami Zayn vs. Ivar (w/ Valhalla) – Winner: Sami Zayn
Chad Gable again warns Gunther that he will take the condescending smile off his face and put it on his daughter’s face, when he takes the title from him at WrestleMania.
#7. Jey Uso vs. Drew McIntyre – Winner: Drew McIntyre after Jimmy Uso’s distraction
Jimmy Uso enters the ring with a chair. Seth Rollins runs out, and straight past McIntyre to take out Jimmy. While his back is turned, McIntyre makes his way back in to the ring to deliver a Claymore Kick. Drew tells Seth this will continue to happen if he keeps taking his eye off the ball.
