Here are results for the Impact Wrestling episode airing September 20th, 2019. Check the link if you missed last week’s results: September 13th

#1. [Street Fight] oVe, Sami Callihan, Jake Crist, Dave Crist & Madman Fulton vs. Tessa Blanchard, Tommy Dreamer, Rob Van Dam & Rhino – Winners: Blanchard, Dreamer, RVD & Rhino

Brutal opening match. oVe is picked off by Rhino’s Gore through a table, Rob Van Dam’s 5-Star Frog Splash, and Tessa Blanchard makes Jake Crist tap out to the crossface (while holding a kendo stick to his face)

– Ace Austin is banged up in a wheelchair. Alisha Edwards is concerned, but Ace insists he be here to see her match with the champion. As she walks off to get ready, Austin gives a sly smirk.

– Throughout the night, the show will be reliving highlights of Ortiz & Santana’s (LAX) greatest moments in Impact Wrestling.

– The North are wearing party hats. This is a celebration, they are here to celebrate LAX leaving Impact Wrestling. Ethan Page thinks their tears will be happy tears, and Josh Alexander is clearly up for the party; Page even bought LAX a pinata. Ethan thinks The North are gonna’ have a fiesta tonight, but Josh does not look amused.

#2. Taya Valkyrie vs. Alisha Edwards* – Winner: Taya Valkyrie

*During the match, Ace Austin is wheeled out to ringside by a nurse with their face covered. Ace takes care of John E. Bravo (who interfered) while Alisha isn’t looking.

Short match, as it was all about Austin feigning the injuries. After Alisha recovers from the loss, he falls out of his wheelchair and garners more sympathy as the nurse runs out to help him off the floor.

– The North are backstage and Ethan Page is looking for people to party with. He tells a guy to stop working as it’s party time. They come across RVD and Rhino, and Ethan asks ’em if they even know what a party is? He dangles the pinata in Rhino’s face and tells him it’s fun. Rhino angrily grabs the pinata and tells them he’ll show them what fun is, so The North quickly retreat. RVD says he likes to party .. and asks Rhino why he’s so angry. With a stern face, Rhino says he just wanted the candy.

#3. (Mahabli) Shera (w/ Desi Hit Squad) vs. Cody Deaner (w/ Cousin Jake) – Winner: Shera with the Powerslam

Not much to note. Shera looks better than he used to, although there’s still a long way to go if he wants to be accepted in the main event scene.

#4. Australian Suicide, Arez & Toxin vs. The Rascalz, Dez, Trey & Wentz – Winners: The Rascalz

– Moose is in Mexico City looking for trouble. What’s more dangerous than looking for trouble in Mexico City .. where’s all the trouble at? So he walks up to some random guys and starts a brawl in the streets. “Ken (Shamrock), do you see that!?”

– Tenille Dashwood interview with Jimmy Jacobs. She’s come to Impact looking for competition and she would enjoy facing Madison Rayne or Tessa Blanchard, but the focus is on the champion Taya Valkyrie. Not many know, but Taya’s first match in the wrestling business was against her and it didn’t go well. While Dashwood feels she has been overlooked in the past, she’s here to make a name for herself and make it all about her.

Havok walks to the ring with a staple gun in hand. Josh Mathews credits Father James Mitchell for this match, as it was he who introduced Havok while managing Su.

#5. [No DQ] Havok vs. Su Yung – Winner: Havok with the Tombstone Piledriver

It’s not over, Su gets up and briefly locks in the claw. Havok runs at Su but she sidesteps her in to the ladder. Yung gets a chair and throws it at Havok, and the battle continues up the entrance way.

They spill to the back and the brawl ensues to a stairwell. Havok has a rope and wraps it around Su’s neck, and pushes her off the stairs .. effectively hanging Su as she laughs maniacally. Luckily officials and referees save her in time, and commentary let us know she’s recovering in the hospital.

– Melissa Santos’ hen party with the Knockouts. Of course, Taya Valkyrie must make a toast to herself. Madison tells Taya the party isn’t for her, but the champion isn’t concerned. There’s a knock on the door, and it’s a police officer. There’s been a noise complaint .. and my god, it’s Joey Ryan! He strips for the hens and shows them all how to have a good time.

Meanwhile, Tommy Dreamer and Rich Swann are hanging out with Brian Cage at his pitiful stag party. It’s implied Cage is doing something sexual off screen, but really .. he’s stuffing his face with a huge tray of food. Dreamer and Swann end up leaving the champ to his feast.

– Johnny Swinger is coming to Impact Wrestling. The Swing Man is here with his 1988 turbo, and his fave tunes lined up. We don’t know when, but he’s arriving at some point.

#6. LAX, Ortiz & Santana (w/ Konnan) vs. Willie Mack & Rich Swann – Winners: Willie Mack & Rich Swann with the Frog Splash

Always a good match when LAX are involved. Commentary continue thanking them for everything they have done for Impact Wrestling. The locker room clears out and they all applaud. Some major respect shown, and a definite feel good moment as the crowd chant for LAX. Farewell Ortiz & Santana.

– The last scene shows doctors working hard to keep Su Yung alive. She has no heartbeat, and the doctors try resuscitating .. but they give up on her. Su lies there for several seconds, as it seems she has passed. Suddenly, and with no clear reason .. Su Yung comes back from the dead.
