Triple H says there will come a time when you think everything is finished, but that is the beginning. Welcome to the season premiere on FOX! Welcome to the season premiere of Friday Night SmackDown! Here comes Roman Reigns & The Bloodline. Wade Barrett joins Michael Cole on commentary.
Roman Reigns tells the fans to acknowledge him. Here comes Logan Paul. He hesitates to get into the ring. Reigns says this is his show and therefore he is a guest. He would like to know what he has to say, and that he gets to hear what they have to say. We get a “Logan Sucks” chant. Roman says the fans used to do that to him, but he’s the greatest of all time now. There’s a lot they can teach him. He asks Paul Heyman to smarten him up.
Heyman tells Paul that he likes to drop pearls of wisdom like, who in the hell is Logan Paul? And it hit him in the head like his brother will get hit in the head. He is this generation’s version of Mr. T and Cyndi Lauper. He is the #1 guy on all pop culture platforms that they bring in to get more eyes on the product and therefore means more people get to acknowledge the Tribal Chief. He mentions a few other fighters who wouldn’t have the balls to challenge Roman Reigns. So who do we have? Mr. big balls himself, Logan Paul. After Crown Jewel, the only content he will dish out won’t be a prediction, it will be a spoiler.
Logan Paul has one question for him. When he says that he’s getting smashed by the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns? Or the Tribal Chief Jey Uso? This lights a fire under Jey. Roman looks at him and he calms down. Sami gets in the middle because it looks like there’s some tension. He asks them to cool it off. Nobody is challenging the fact he is the Tribal Chief. Jey Uso did nothing wrong. The only person doing anything around here is this pretender, Logan Paul. He doesn’t realize at Crown Jewel he’s getting smashed worse than anyone else has before. Sami says Paul is the biggest #2 ever. And that is how he’s going to end up as a stain on the bottom of the Tribal Chief’s shoe. The Bloodline will be stronger than ever, because they the ones.
#1. Ricochet vs. Solo Sikoa — Winner: Solo Sikoa with the Spinning Solo
Roman Reigns tells Sami Zayn that the problem of Jey Uso being a hothead has been there their entire lives, so this problem is also his now. Sami accepts that. Meanwhile, Hit Row is up next. The New Day wind up the Bloodline and Sami Zayn challenges them to a match.
Hit Row get in the ring and are attacked by masked men! It has to be Legado Del Fantasma! And they have Zelina Vega with them, (no Elektra Lopez) who attacks B-Fab. They unmask and and the three original members of Legado Del Fantasma are here. Santos Escobar says SmackDown is theirs now. Be safe.
A pixelated bunny jumps across the screen and buries underground where an X marks the spot. It says “Tomorrow”, implying something is happening at Extreme Rules. “Feed Your Head”.
#2. Shotzi & Raquel Rodriguez vs. Xia Li & Sonya Deville — Winners: Shotzi & Raquel
Karrion Kross & Scarlett are here. Drew McIntyre blindsides him the second his entrance ends! And he has a strap. Drew puts it around his and Kross’ wrists. Security show up to put a stop to the assault, but McIntyre fights back and takes them out. It gives Kross the time to recover and he uses the strap to smash him against the turnbuckle post. Kross leaves him laying and has the advantage going into Extreme Rules.
A brief vignette showed a woman in Viking clothing, heavily implying the return of Sarah Logan.
#3. The New Day & Braun Strowman vs. The Bloodline’s Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso & Sami Zayn — Winners: The New Day & Braun Strowman
Maximum Male Models get taken out! And it’s by the man no longer known as Max Dupri. His name… L…A… Knight! Yeah!
A mysterious white rabbit is sitting behind the commentary team. Spooky.
