[Show: Impact Wrestling] [Location: Orlando, Florida at Universal Studios] [Date: 5/29/15] [Airing On: Destination America]

We kick off Impact Wrestling with footage of Eric Young driving earlier today. When he arrives outside the venue, he sees Kurt Angle is waiting for him. Angle tries to pull Young out of the car, but the latter rakes his eyes. They brawl outside the car with Angle getting the upper hand before security separates the two men.

Next is a shot of the arena and a steel cage surrounding the ring. Josh Matthews is joined by Al Snow on commentary as Gail Kim heads to the ring. The Dollhouse makes their way down the ramp. Kim doesn’t want to wait for her opponent, Taryn Terrell so she drags Taryn in the ring.

Knockouts Championship Steel Cage Match: Taryn Terrell vs. Gail Kim

Taryn immediately tries to escape the cage, but Kim stops her. Kim gains the early advantage with some forearms. Kim throws Taryn into the cage twice. After dishing out more punishment, The Dollhouse grabs Kim’s leg from outside the cage, allowing Taryn to take advantage. Taryn kisses Kim’s wedding ring and slams her hand on the cage. Taryn nails a suplex, but Kim kicks out at two. Kim reverses Taryn’s finisher and they both land a clothesline simultaneously.

Kim starts to get fired up and lands a cross body from the second rope. Kim attempts to climb out of the cage, but she is pushed off by The Dollhouse. When Kim gets up, she is hit with the Taryn Cutter and that’s a wrap.

Winner and still Knockouts champion: Taryn Terrell

After the match, The Dollhouse pick up Kim and Taryn clotheslines referee Earl Hebner. The Dollhouse locks up the cage door as Awesome Kong attempts the save. The group starts attacking Kim and they throw her against the cage a couple of times. Taryn stands over Kim with a mic and says Kim is nothing compared to her. She takes Kim’s wedding ring off and puts it on her lips before putting it back on. She stomps on Kim’s ring finger twice. Snow says he thinks Taryn broke Kim’s finger.

We return from the break with an update on Gail Kim. Snow says her finger is broken. We are then taken to a video promo showcasing the Magnus, Mickie James, and James Storm angle.

Mickie James makes her entrance. She says she has agreed to come back for one more match. She says she hopes it’s one of the greatest matches of her career. She then makes it clear that her point in coming out tonight is to address her fiancée Magnus and her friend James Storm. She says it’s hard to balance the friction between a close friend and her heart. Storm makes his way down to the ring. Mickie says she wanted to personally apologize to him. Storm says in Magnus’ mind, he was doing the right thing. He says this isn’t about doing the right thing. He says Magnus is jealous of their friendship.

Mickie says Magnus isn’t jealous and just trying to protect her and her family. Storm reminds Mickie that he saved her from Bram. Storm says he doesn’t understand where Magnus is coming from. Storm claims he set up an important meeting with popular names in the country music industry that will help Mickie advance her music career. Storm hugs Mickie and leaves the ring after telling her to think about the offer. Mickie stops Storm and says tell the music stars that she’ll see them in Nashville.

Backstage, Kenny King calls all of his opponents later tonight, “vanilla midgets.” He then says in the future, he will meet whoever leaves Impact tonight with the TNA world championship.

-Commercial Break-

Manik smashes Andrews’ head on the ring post and we have our first elimination.

Back from the break and Tigre Uno has been eliminated … wait we didn’t even see him arrive. Anyway, Argos is moving a bit gingerly but is still in the match. Kenny King makes his way down to the ring holding his X Division title.

Second Elimination: Tigre Uno

King hits Spud with an atomic drop followed by a spinning roundhouse kick. He taunts fans and Crazzy Steve takes advantage with an attack. Steve uses his legs to choke King in the corner, but he ends up on the ring apron. This allows King to kick

Third Elimination: Crazzy Steve

Fourth Elimination: Argos

Spud jumps on King’s back looking for a sleeper hold. Instead, King reverses and hits the Royal Flush. King has been taunting since he entered the match and isn’t showing any signs of stopping. Best of 5 Series Match #2: The Dirty Heels vs. The Wolves

Before The Wolves are able to get in the ring, Austin Aries lands a suicide dive on Eddie Edwards. Inside the ring, Booby Roode and Davey Richards are exchanging punches. Richards hits Aries with a suicide dive. Roode attempts a dive, but he is blocked by a rollup from Edwards. Roode kicks out and is able to avoid the double team from The Wolves. Josh Matthews says he hopes The Wolves get a clean sweep on The Dirty Heels and Al Snow doesn’t sound like he agrees.

Aries attempts to pin Edwards following a slingshot senton, but Richards distracts referee Brian Hebner. A double team from The Dirty Heels sees Aries lands a slingshot corkscrew splash this time. Another double team attempt fails as Edwards hits Roode with an enzuigiri and tags in Richards. The Wolves are too much for their opponents to handle at the moment. Richards locks in a reverse figure four on Roode. Roode eventually reaches the ropes.

A double team back rolling german suplex pin fails to get the win as Aries breaks up the count. Edwards applies a headlock as Roode desperately tries to tag Aries. Roode fights off The Wolves, but looks dazed. He finally tags Aries, who lands a series of clotheslines on Richards. Aries lands a double neckbreaker on The Wolves from the apron. Roundhouse kick misses for Richards and Aries converts a slam into Last Chancery. Edwards tries to make the save, but Roode gets him in a crossface. Richards reaches the bottom rope.

Aries goes for the brainbuster, but is met with a knee from Richards. Aries goes for it again, but this time Richards gets him in a suplex position, when Edwards kicks Aries before he is sent crashing down the mat. Surprisingly, Aries gets the shoulder up with Roode nowhere in sight. The Wolves climb up opposite sides of the top turnbuckles, but they are pushed off. Aries lands a 450 splash on Edwards, but Richards breaks up the count.

With Roode holding onto Richards’ leg, Aries locks in Last Chancery on Edwards. Richards kicks off Roode and hits a double foot stomp from the top turnbuckle to disrupt the submission. The Wolves hit the Force of Nature on Aries to go up 2-0 in the Best of 5 Series.

Winners: The Wolves

In the back, Angelina Love says she doesn’t know why Velvet Sky is here because she is fired. She claims she will handle the situation herself now.

-Commercial Break-

Kenny King is on the phone and is leaving a message for MVP and he is not pleased over losing his X Division title earlier.

Angelina Love’s music hits and we see Velvet Sky in the crowd. Love says Sky is where she belongs, with the other “losers.” She says she will personally take care of Sky and says she has brought some friends of her own. Her “friends” are her own personal security team. She gets in Sky’s face and says her team will throw her out of the building if she dares to touch her again. Love reminds Sky that she is no longer on the active roster at TNA. She calls Sky a freak. She then eggs Sky on and dares Sky to hit her. She says her team would throw Sky out like the “piece of trash” she is. The moment the security team turns their back, Sky jumps over the guardrail and attacks Love. Sky even attacks the guards and keeps pouncing on Love. After the attack, Love yells, “I want you handcuffed you idiot!”

Backstage, Mr. Anderson emphasizes that he’s always had to compete against EC3 with Tyrus involved. He reveals a cage to lock Tyrus in during his match against EC3. Matthews questions how Anderson will get Tyrus in the cage.

-Commercial Break-

EC3 makes his way down the ramp with Tyrus. They stare at the cage, which is covered. EC3 grabs a mic and says Tyrus will not be locked in the cage. He ends his short mic work by saying, “#EC3forchamp.” Anderson comes out and pulls the cover off the cage. He opens the cage door and Tyrus refuses to go inside.

Singles Match: EC3 vs. Mr. Anderson

The moment the match starts, Anderson leaves the ring and attacks Tyrus. EC3 throws Anderson against the cage before getting him back inside the ring. EC3 is in control, constantly throwing Anderson’s head to the mat. With the ref somehow distracted, EC3 throws Anderson into the ropes and Tyrus hits him in the back. EC3 tells Tyrus to open the cage door, as I assume he attempted to put Anderson in it.

The plan backfired as Anderson threw EC3 into Tyrus on the outside. Anderson attacks Tyrus with a steel chair and forces him inside the cage. Anderson locks the door and we have a normal match, at least for now. Anderson and EC3 exchange punches and Anderson lands a neckbreaker to end it. Anderson gets a two count on the powerslam. Anderson climbs up the top turnbuckle, but EC3 stops him. EC3 hits the TKO, but Anderson kicks out.

EC3 attempts the One Percenter, but Anderson counters into the Green Bay Plunge. He then goes up the top rope and lands the Kenton Bomb. Anderson’s Mic Check connects, but EC3 barely gets his shoulder up. Anderson sets up for another Mic Check, but EC3 counters with the One Percenter and earns the three count.

Winner: EC3

After the match Anderson offers to shake EC3’s hand. EC3 slaps Anderson’s hand and leaves Tyrus in the cage.

We’re back and Rockstar Spud said he’s cemented himself as a two-time X Division champion. The cameraman brings up “Option C” with Spud possibly having a chance to exchange his title for a world championship opportunity.

Both Kurt Angle and Eric Young made their entrances with security guards. Before the match introductions could be finalized, Angle charged at Young and attacked him.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship “I Quit” Match: Kurt Angle © vs. Eric Young

They brawl on the outside. The two exchange punches and chest chops inside the ring. Young rakes Angle’s eyes to end the exchange. Angle sends Young for a few rides with five german suplexes. Young doesn’t quit and Angle hits him with six more german suplexes. Young still won’t quit and he throws Angle out the ring.

-Commercial Break-

Back from the break and Young nails Angle over the head with his knee brace. Young applied a figure four leglock on Angle. When asked if he wanted to quit, Angle replied, “Hell No!” Angle reverses the lock, but Young doesn’t quit. Young attempts an Angle Slam and despite reversing, Angle is dumped on the mat. Young gets the Ankle Lock. Angle refuses to quit and he counters into another figure four. Young reaches the ropes to pull himself off the submission.

Young bites Angle’s head from the top rope. He whiffs a missile dropkick and Angle gets the Angle Lock. Young taps and Angle celebrates, but he didn’t say, “I Quit,” so the match continues. Young hits a low blow and lands the Piledriver. Angle will not quit and Young steps on his neck and grabs the mic. He tells Angle to give up. Angle tells Young to kiss his ass. Young looks for another piledriver, but Angle counters into another Ankle Lock. Young quits and Angle retains his title.

Winner and still TNA world heavyweight champion: Kurt Angle

Angle celebrates his victory after the successful title defense. Young is left in the ring holding his ankle. Matthews reminds fans of Impact Wrestling’s move to Wednesday nights to close the show.
