Jonathan Coachman has hinted that ESPN may be doing more than just storyline coverage of WWE. In response to a message by the editor of Fighting Spirit Magazine that asked, “Will you be covering storylines only? As you know, WWE is newsworthy & deserves serious & honest coverage,” Coachman posted:
Trust me more is coming. Storylines will be a very small part of what we do. This is only the beginning. https://t.co/CLliZZcRbT

He also defended WWE from some critics on Twitter, such as below:
These are great athletes. Instead of being the usual negative person on Twitter tune in you might learn something. https://t.co/ly7sKE0Z00

As previously reported, WWE may be using ESPN to “break” major stories for the company going forward, and the sports network will be covering WrestleMania 32 heavily next April.
