WWE released their third-quarter earnings for 2015 on Thursday and down below are some of the highlights of their earnings.
– PPVs drew 278,000 buys for the three events, which is only down slightly from 294,000 comparable buys the same quarter of 2014.
* Battleground drew 80,000 buys, which is down compared to 99,000 in the third-quarter of 2014.
* Summerslam drew 121,000 buys, which is down compared to 147,000 in the third-quarter of 2014.
* Night of Champions drew 77,000 buys, which is up compared to 48,000 in the third-quarter of 2014.
– The Media Division did $114.9 million, compared to $76.9 million in the third-quarter of 2014.
-WWE did $166.2 million for the quarter, which is up from $120.2 million in the same quarter in 2014.
– WWE did only $5.0 million in the quarter for live events.
