Roman Reigns: The Next WWE World Heavyweight Champion?

When the WWE announced that WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins would be out 6-to-9 months with an injury, the WWE has announced that a tournament will be held at the Survivor Series pay-per-view on Sunday, November 22nd, 2015 at Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

Expect many of WWE’s top Superstars which will likely include the likes of Kane, Big Show, Bray Wyatt, Dolph Ziggler and Roman Reigns, among others. However, don’t expect the likes of John Cena (currently taking time off to host a reality show), Randy Orton (currently out with an injury) and Daniel Bryan and Cesaro (not favorites of Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn) to participate.

As for who I think will be the next WWE World Heavyweight Champions, I like Reigns. Even though he lacks mic and in-ring skills, he does have huge support from McMahon and Dunn and to a lesser extent, Triple H, tremendous amounts of charisma and having that huge and intimidating look that both Dunn and McMahon desire.

Even though the IWC will be disappointed, expect Reigns to be the temporary “Face of the WWE” until Cena returns simply because he “best for business” as The Authority would say.
