Saturday night’s episode of AEW Collision saw AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR face Bullet Club Gold’s Jay White & Juice Robinson in an “eliminator” match. In a sensational match, White & Robinson defeated Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler to secure a shot at their AEW World Tag Team Championships.
A brilliant fusion of old-school tag team wrestling, coupled with a modern style influenced by Japan and the original ROH, the match had tons of action, a hot crowd, and tag team wrestling psychology at its finest.
In a backstage interview segment following the match, Bullet Club Gold challenged FTR to a 2-out-of-3-falls match for their titles, which is set for next week’s episode.
