#1. Matt Hardy vs. “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry – Winner: “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry

“We saw that Darby Allin and Sammy Guevara were watching the match backstage. Meanwhile, Ethan Page accidentally punched Matt Hardy at ringside, as we saw further developments in whatever the hell’s going on with that thing.”

After the match, out comes the AEW World Champion, good ol’ MJF. He gets in the ring with a mic in hand and says that he took an exception with Jungle Boy’s interference last week during his re-bar mitzvah in Winnipeg. MJF says Jungle Boy’s career since their last match has been… well, pretty mid.

He proceeds to take a long walk down memory lane. Friedman adds that Jungle Boy has no right to be pissed at MJF or at AEW. He says after their last match at Double or Nothing 2020, he felt he had met his equal and had shaken his hand backstage afterwards. Max shares that his advice for Jungle Boy that night had been for him to focus on singles competiton and rack up wins, and to ditch his “friends.” Jungle Boy had evidently not listened to him, and almost four years later, Jungle Boy is still Jungle Boy, while MJF is the AEW World Champion.

Jungle Boy finally fires back, saying that he sometimes does wish that he was more like MJF – that he was more selfish, that he stabbed people in the back. But that is not who he is.  Jungle Boy then says he will still become the AEW World Champion… and it doesn’t matter if his path if more difficult because of it. That was a rather good babyface promo from Mr. Perry.

MJF retorts and goes too far as he often does, bringing up Jungle Boy’s girlfriend Anna Jay. Jungle Boy loses is and attacks MJF, who escapes and retreats.

Don Callis and Kenny Omega are backstage with Alex Marvez. Callis apologizes for what he did following last night’s main event and says he will go apologize to Hangman Page. Callis also says that he wants Omega to take his ming off of it and focus on his title defense tonight.

#2. Blackpool Combat Club vs. Dalton Castle & The Boys – Winner: Blackpool Combat Club

Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta attack Dalton Castle and The Boys (Brandon & Brent Tate) as they make their entrance. Finally in the ring, Claudio squashes  Brandon with a huge press slam out of the corner, BIIIIGG lariat, chokeslam, straitjacket, and powerbomb for the win.

Don Callis approaches Hangman Page backstage to apologize. Both men get assaulted by the Blackpool Combat Club.

Right before his, Tony Schiavone interviews Kenny Omega, informing him that Callis and Page were attacked backstage.

#3. IWGP U.S. Title: Kenny Omega (c) vs Jeff Cobb – Winner: Kenny Omega

“Omega was seen favoring his ribs for the majority of the match, fighting from underneath. But he was always retaining here, which is awesome, ’cause I had some money riding on this!”

After the match, the Blackpool Combat Club surrounds the ring. WAIT A MINUTE! Bryan Danielson’s music! YES! YES! Bryan Danielson is here!

“Don’t turn heel, don’t turn heel man!”

Danielson enters the ring and shakes a hesitant Omega’s hand, before hitting him the Busaiku Knee. Follows that with the Labelle Lock as his stablemates join him in the assault.

#4. AEW “Interim National” Championship: Orange Cassidy (c) vs The Butcher – Winner: Orange Cassidy

“Typical Orange Cassidy match, this is getting seriously tired now. The Blade attacked him before the match, allowing Butcher to dominate, before Cassidy made the comeback, courtesy some help from Chuckie T and Trent.”

*************

We see a pre-tape by Jade Cargill, where she and Mark Sterling threaten to sue Taya Valkyrie.

“UUGGGHHHH! There’s two minutes of my life I’m never getting back.”

We see another pre-tape by Juice Robinson, who will face Action Andretti on Dynamite next week.

*************

#5. Ruby Soho vs Willow Nightingale – Winner: Ruby Soho

“Alright, bathroom break! Just kidding…”

Toni Storm and Saraya interfered repeatedly here, with Ruby rolling up Willow for the win, capitalizing on one of the many distractions. After the match, The Outcasts assault Willow, before Riho and Skye Blue run in for the save. They are also beaten down, before the AEW Women’s World Champion, Jamie Hayter, finally arrives to even the odds. The Outcasts retreat.

#6. Adam Cole vs Daniel Garcia – Winner: Adam Cole! BAY BAY!

After the match, out comes Britt Baker!! She embraces Cole and they kiss. They celebrate in the ring before… Baker attacks Cole!!! Nah, I’m kidding. But I gotcha didn’t I? Anything can happen on Dynamite.

Out comes Chris Jericho. The music fades, but the crowd keeps singing Judas as Jericho escorts Danny to the back, looking over his shoulder at Cole, but never once making eye contact.

“OHH MYY GAWWWDDD!! They didn’t make eye contact! What does that mean for the future of ALL ELITE WRESTLING?? UUUGGHHH!

Thanks for joining us for AEW Dynamite folks.
